Youth

At Rosemeadow-Appin Anglican Churches we think that following Jesus isn’t just for adults, but that children and teenagers can come to a genuine faith as well. And so we want to run excellent programs that help children and teenagers explore the Christian faith in a safe and age appropriate way.

Youth Group

Our Youth Group, for teenagers from Yr7 – Yr12, runs on Thursday afternoon from 4:30pm – 6pm during school terms at Rosemeadow Anglican Church.

Teenagers often start arriving from 4:15pm. During the program, we play some group games, play a game to help us learn a verse from the Bible, spend some time sharing about our own Christian lives and praying, and then spend 30-40min discussing a passage from the Bible. It’s both fun and helps teenagers learn what it means to be a Christian.

Child Protection

We want kids and youth to be able to learn about the Christian faith and following Jesus Christ in a safe environment, and so take child protection (or safe ministry) very seriously. All of our leaders are required to complete a safe ministry course every three years. We are also compliant with legislation  around Working with Children Checks and a Safe Ministry Check. Beyond following legislation, we also actively ensure that we’re creating a safe place for kids to learn & grow.
