The ministry team at Rosemeadow-Appin Anglican Churches have responsibility for leading the congregations. This starts with their own commitment to following Jesus Christ, and the example of their lives. But it also extends to preaching, praying, and overseeing the ministry activities of our churches. Hi my name is Gav and I’m married to Lara and together we have 3 children aged, 17, 15 and 12. I grew up in the west of Sydney and I’m delighted and privileged to be the new Senior Minister here in Rosemeadow and Appin, in the southwest of Sydney. This is God’s country.
Growing up as a tragic Western Suburbs Magpie’s fan, I am now a devout and tragic Wests Tigers fan, but this is their year! I love most sports and love to play tennis and golf.
I didn’t grow up as a Christian but became one at the age of 21. My friend Matt introduced me to Jesus and to Lara, I owe him a lot! It is now my greatest joy in life to introduce others to Jesus and help them see how wonderful He is, in the pages of the Bible.I hope I get to meet you soon and show you how wonderful Jesus is!
