Our Appin congregation meets at 8:30am each Sunday at the historic church of St Mark the Evangelist in Appin village.
The service follows an Anglican order of service (which just means that there are familiar things like the Lord’s Prayer & saying the Apostles’ Creed together). We sing a mix of hymns and newer Christian songs, sometimes to recordings & sometimes to a live band. The preaching attempts to apply the Bible to daily life.
There’re a mix of people that come to church at Appin – different ages and stages of life. So don’t stress too much about what you wear – most people just wear something comfortable.
If you’ve got children, we run a Sunday School every week during term time using materials from Crusaders – an independent Christian youth organisation.
The service normally finishes between 9:30am and 9:45am, and is followed by morning tea.
